Paula Bristow

Paula Bristow heads the crime department at Warrens Law and Advocacy. She is also a Director of the firm and a member of the senior management team here at Warren’s.

Paula is a Higher Rights Solicitor Advocate and an experienced Duty Solicitor; she has a wealth of experience in all aspects of criminal law.

Paula has dealt with a broad spectrum of cases, from murder through to careless driving. Paula is also experienced in defending sexual offences. Paula is skilled in representation in the police station, through the magistrates’ court and on to the crown court.

Paula works closely with intermediaries and the medical profession to achieve the best outcomes for her clients. Paula is a patient and compassionate practitioner and her experience and knowledge enables her to support both client and their family with the challenges of a court hearing.

Paula specialises in representing vulnerable defendants, particularly those with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Her experience in criminal defence has led to her being appointed as a peer reviewer.

Paula is on the committee of the Criminal Law Solicitors Association.
